Humanities Department


Three subjects in the humanities department include; History, CRE and Geography. The department has contributed a good share in assisting students qualify to go to university. The three subjects were marked among the best subjects in 2018 KCSE results.

The teachers in this department include: Mr. Zachary Ogendi, (CRE), Mr. Josphat Moruri (History), Mr. Calvince Oluoch (CRE/History)), Mdm. Sharon Atieno (CRE), Mr. Julius Nyantika (Geography), Mr. Jaspher Otwori (Geography), Mdm. Dolphine Omanga (CRE).

Over the years there has been an increasing number of students registered to sit for KCSE in these subjects due to the improving performance.

For students to perform better in these subjects they are called upon to have a reading culture which will enable them to have a mastery of content in the subjects. Constant consultation is a pre-requisite in improving performance in the subjects.
